Can I bring food and drink into People First Stadium for events?
Food and drinks are permitted into People First Stadium as long at they adhere to the following guidelines:
Do not contain alcohol
All beverages must be sealed at the time they are brought into the stadium. Water in a sealed, plastic containers up to 1.5L will be permitted, as well as non-alcoholic drinks in a sealed, plastic container up to 600mL. Drinks in unsealed bottles or larger than the permitted amounts, will be emptied at the entry gates.
- No crockery or glass items are permitted
- Food or drink must not be contained in a bag that is not pliable or soft to touch (eg. A hard esky) – handbags, medical bags and baby care bags are permitted.
- Food must not be in commercial quantities or commercial branded takeaway food – food for personal consumption, such as homemade sandwiches or small packets of chips, can be brought into the venue.
What company is contracted for People First Stadium’s catering requirements?
O’Brien Group Australia is the stadium’s sole catering contractor.
I have a disabled parking permit. Does this get me access to car parking at People First Stadium?
A limited number of PWD parking spaces are available in the Blue and Red Car Park at People First Stadium for holders of a valid, government issued disability parking permit. These car parks can be purchased for events – for information regarding a specific event, please see the What’s On tab for the event.

Do you offer tours of People First Stadium?
We do not offer regular tours of the Stadium. Large group or organisations that wish to book a tour should contact Stadium Management on info@peoplefirststadium.com.au to find out more.
Is the SUNS Shop open on non-game days?
The SUNS Shop is only open during Gold Coast SUNS’ home games. You can purchase Gold Coast SUNS merchandise here: shop.goldcoastfc.com.au
In wet weather can umbrellas be brought into the stadium?
Umbrellas are permitted in the stadium but must not be opened inside the seating bowl. In wet weather it is recommended that patrons use raincoats and ponchos to protect them from the weather. Ponchos can be purchased from merchandise outlets.
Is there parking available at People First Stadium on non event day? (For club training the day before an event).
Yes. There is public parking available at People First Stadium on non event days. Public are advised to park in the Red Car Park (in front of the indoor sports centre) and enter using the intercom at the Gate 6 Service Entry.
How do I go about applying for game day employment?
Any vacancies that exist will be advertised on the People First Stadium website. However, a resume and cover letter detailing the type of work the person is looking for can be sent to the info@peoplefirststadium.com.au email address and then it will be forwarded on to the HR department. HR will then make contact should a suitable position become available.
Does People First Stadium have TAB facilities?
There are no TAB facilities available at the ground.
I am looking at holding a function at People First Stadium, do you offer this service?
Yes, the People First Stadium function rooms are available for hire on non-event days. Please contact the People First Stadium Functions contact at O’Brien Catering Group on 07 5644 6215.
I have a bus full of people attending the event, where can I park my vehicle during the event?
There is a limited number of bus parking available in the Blue Car Park across the road from People First Stadium. Bus parking in this location is charged per vehicle per event and must be booked in advance through People First Stadium Management.
