Get your GAME ON when the Gold Coast SUNS take on Richmond on Saturday 9 March in an historic Opening Round blockbuster at People First Stadium!

Entry

Main gates (Gate 1, 3 & 5) will open fully at 1:15pm. Entry tickets will be sent directly to your mobile phone. Please ensure your mobile phone is charged to allow your tickets to scan on arrival at the Stadium. To avoid delays, please download your tickets prior to arriving at the venue. Gates will close at the start of the fourth quarter.

Gate 1 & 3 Box Offices will open at 12:45pm.

Seating
All attendees have been allocated a reserved seat with their ticket. Attendees must present their ticket to event day staff and must sit in the allocated seat as shown on their ticket. If there is an issue with your ticket, please let one of the event day staff know. Do not move seats without approval from People First Stadium staff.

Please note, tickets in sections 201 – 228R are on Level 2 and are not accessible by a lift. If you or any of your guests have a mobility issue preventing them from using stairs, please contact info@peoplefirststadium.com.au prior to arriving on Saturday.

Car Parking and Transport
Pre-paid parking into the Blue Carpark has sold out. Ticket holders with a parking pass can enter the carpark, directly across the road, via Nerang-Broadbeach Road from 11:00am on Saturday. Additional PWD parking is available to be purchased in the Blue Carpark directly opposite People First Stadium. A valid, government-issued disability parking permit in conjunction with the paid parking pass is required to access this parking.

Free event shuttles will be operating from Nerang Station, Boowaggan Road Park n Ride, and Broadbeach South Light Rail Station from 1:05pm and running regularly until the first quarter.
They will commence again at three quarter time until 1 hour post the completion of the match.

Attendees with a valid ticket will be able to access free public transport on all Queensland Rail Services, Translink Bus Services, and G:Link Light Rail Services.

Normal Translink public transport services are also operating – find your journey here: www.translink.com.au. You can use your event ticket to access free public transport on G:Link services, Queensland Rail services and Translink Buslines from 4 hours pre-match to 4 hours post-match.

Taxis and Ride Share vehicles can drop off and pick up passengers outside the Gold Coast Sports & Leisure Centre. The public drop off and pick up is located across the road at the Blue Carpark.

What can I bring to the Stadium?
Spectators are encouraged to leave bags at home. Bags will be searched on entry to the Stadium. Bags or other items larger than an A4 piece of paper will not be permitted into the ground. There will be cloaking facilities available for items larger than an A4 piece of paper that is not permitted.

Water in a sealed, plastic container, up to a maximum of 1.5L will be permitted into the Stadium. Any unsealed bottles will be emptied at the entry gates. You will be able to refill your bottles with water from any open bar – just ask the bar staff to refill your bottle. Soft drinks or other non-alcoholic drinks will be permitted in a sealed, plastic container, up to a maximum of 600mL. All other sizes or unsealed bottles will be emptied on entrance to the Stadium.

Patrons may bring homemade food items or special dietary requirements into the Stadium provided they are packaged appropriately, and the items can be easily viewed by security if requested. Commercially branded takeaway food and beverage will not be allowed into the Stadium. No items in glass, crockery or cans will be allowed into the Stadium, including glass water bottles. All Thermos items will be searched by security.

Cashless Venue
People First Stadium is a cashless venue for all purchases, including catering, AFL Records, and merchandise.

For attendees who have a query or require assistance, please speak to any of the friendly People First Stadium event staff located at the gates, at the aisles and roving throughout the Stadium. Please treat all staff with respect and kindness – People First Stadium will not tolerate any abusive or inappropriate language directed at staff or other patrons.
